Refund Policy

Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to NewsBuster.AI Pro or Pro Annual.

No Refund Policy

All purchases on NewsBuster.AI are final and non-refundable. By completing a subscription purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund under any circumstances, except as expressly required by applicable law.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Partial use of the subscription period
  • Dissatisfaction with AI verdict results (see our Terms of Service regarding AI limitations)
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle
  • Not using the service during the subscription period

Why We Have This Policy

NewsBuster.AI provides immediate access to AI-powered fact-checking infrastructure upon subscription. The full value of the subscription — unlimited checks, AI processing credits, and Pro features — is available from the moment of purchase. Because the service is instantly delivered and consumed digitally, we are unable to offer refunds.

Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Subscription in the app. Cancellation stops all future billing immediately. You will retain full Pro access until the end of your current billing period — we do not cut off access early.

Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any previous billing period.

Annual Plans

Pro Annual subscriptions are non-refundable in full. If you cancel mid-year, you retain Pro access until the end of the annual period. No pro-rated refunds are issued for unused months.

Technical Failures

In the rare event of a verified, extended service outage caused solely by NewsBuster.AI infrastructure failure (not third-party services, your device, or internet connectivity), we may at our sole discretion offer a subscription extension as compensation. This is not a guarantee and does not constitute a refund right. To report a technical issue, email contact@thenewsbuster.com.

Duplicate Charges

If you have been charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a payment processor error, contact us with proof of the duplicate charge at contact@thenewsbuster.com and we will investigate. Verified duplicate charges will be resolved in coordination with our payment processor.

Accounts Suspended for Policy Violations

No refunds will be issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service, including but not limited to misuse, abuse, or creating duplicate accounts.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived by contract. If you believe you have a statutory right to a refund, contact us at contact@thenewsbuster.com with the relevant details and we will assess your claim.
